Cayman inspiration: beautiful bougainvillea

Morning morning and a very Happy Valentine’s Day to you!

So every morning at the moment, you’ll catch me anxiously glaring at our pink bougainvillea bush on our terrace, willing it to grow more flowers sharpish.

I’m picking and drying them to use as confetti for our wedding (3 days to go, double-eek!) and we still do not have enough – think I’m going to have to go on a midnight guerrilla bougainvillea raid around the island…  On the upside though, I’ve been spending more time than usual with this gorgeous gorgeous flower, and had the idea of looking at fuchsia in interior design today, as it’s quite appropriate for all things romantische.

Employing this colour pop for an entire room is probably going to be a smidge too much for your average punter, although I am still pondering this scheme on and off:

Gorgeous to look at but I’m not entirely sure I could live there…

But here are some cute furnishings, accents and fabrics I’ve found that could do the job – let me know what you think and have a fabulous day!
