Monday’s Masterpiece – kitchen perfection

Morning lovelies!

For today’s masterpiece I wanted to take a closer look at Boston-based Terrat Elms.  Their whole portfolio is pretty bananas but it’s the semi-industrial/semi-glam kitchens that really take the biscuit.

Ok, let’s take a closer look at that M.A.R.B.L.E.

Yum.  Also loving this chandy/bar stool combo:

And this light and bright affair is pretty divine also:

We’re going to be renting our home for the foreseeable future (I have this crazy urge to buy a big shophouse here in Singers after only living here for 3 months, but unfortunately they cost about $4 mill…) and so for now I am stuck with kitchens always designed by somebody else.

But one day we will have a killer space of our own, here’s what I’m thinking…

Poured concrete worktops and a dramatic Calacatta marble splashback, paired with gorgeous rustic reclaimed wood floorboards (+ totally-100%-Scotchguarded-and-superglued-to-the-floor Oushak rug) form the backdrop, combined with these insane brass Arteriors pendants I fell for a looong time ago, a couple of midcentury Bertoia wire barstools, beautiful horn cabinet handles from Ochre and all Gaggenau white goods (this is a dream after all).  One day, one day…

I was blown away by the third image, I need my kitchen to look like that, its so modern, simple and minimalist, which I prefer and the darker tones are just perfect. I also like the middle island and the futuristic lights, great to work on. Your ideas are fantastic! Thanks for your visit sweety, have a great start to the week!
