Monday’s Masterpiece – Hong Kong classic with a twist

Morning lovelies, how are we all doing today??  I thought I’d get the week off to a high-style start with a little peek at the Wan Chai resto/bar Madam Sixty Ate, that we visited for the first time this weekend.

It reminded me quite a bit of the Drake & Morgan group in London, with its healthy dose of whimsy and quirky interiors.  And it serves up a pretty smashing cocktail too.

LOVING this modern take on the classic chandie, in white plastic (?), and the tweet tweet wallpaper’s quite fun too:

Fun bar area here, with a feather-wrapped strip light on the LHS!  Totally enamoured with the midcentury look of the bar stools and dining chairs also.

And these blobby semi-Tulip tables and jewel-coloured easy chairs complete the look:

The nailhead trim on these dining chairs is making my head spin around a little, and the deep indigo offsets the copper kitchen pendants to perfection!

A panoramic squiz for you!

The branding and paper goods are fantastically fun – see menu later…

See?!  These hand illustrated menus and coasters perfectly complement the quirky interiors – love!

All in all it is highly recommended for a cocktail or two, you must check it out any Hong Kongers out there!

I like the blue accents with the chairs, its refreshing and keeps things light. Also adore the super cute bird wallpaper. Is the food good too?
