Monday’s Masterpiece – rustic elegance in Sonoma

Morning lovelies, how are we all today?  I thought I would get the week off on a fabulous footing by showcasing the design of the Ram’s Gate Winery, Sonoma, that I came across this weekend whilst on my internet ramblings.

Designed by Orlando Diaz-Azcuy, the property incorporates more reclaimed wood, stone, insane fireplaces and luscious lighting than you can shake a vine at, and I have fallen for it.  Hard!

You know what, I think I’ll just let the images do the talking today – go make yourselves a cuppa and take some time over these, you won’t regret it!

Gaaah, I can’t keep quiet any longer – this terrace is absolutely stonkingly good, I am ALL about outdoors fireplaces right now:

And I can totally see myself hanging out here with a glass of red – LOVE the zebra!

Some great friends of ours have just relocated to San Fran, and this smasher of a vineyard has just added to the reasons to go visit…

So Orlando’s website is under construction so I can’t access the whole of his portfolio annoyingly, but here are a few of his other designs I’ve managed to get my grubby mitts on.  They’re a smidge more traditional than I usually opt for but I have to say I am a fan:

Happy Monday y’all, have a fabulous week!

Me loves this place too! I’ve gone a bit gaga … didn’t think rustic industrial would work but seems to have to massively re-evaluate after seeing those photos! And all of a sudden a trip to see zee relocated friends seems like a doubly good idea. Good find Elly!

Sighhh so much beauty in one venue, love the natural and elegant decor, it all flows so well from one room into the next. The outdoor entertainment area is fantastic. I visited a stunning home on show this week similar to this one and thought you would love it.

  4. Elly, so many brown wooden pieces on that property, but even so I can’t get enough looking at them. I am going to make myself a tea and take some time to watch those photos. It looks so simple, but yet so beautiful, those lighting pendants and those fireplaces, perfect for this weather! :*
