Trellis-tastic

So it appears that I’m approximately two and a half years late to the party on this one, but I’ve been oogling a lot of trellis fabric and wallcoverings recently.  It has such a zingy powerful impact if used extensively…

…or can be used to inject a more subtle geometric print to liven up a scheme, if used on just one or two pieces:

Now if you are the happy owner of Big Bucks, you may wish to opt for one of the original beauts from the Kelly Wearstler for Schumacher range:

However, I guess an advantage of being behind the times is that there are now plenty of more affordable alternatives, so for the rest of us I’ve rooted out a few cheap as chips options:

Ok ok, the fuchsia one is by Osborne & Little and therefore not so cheapy, but it’s a cute one so I included it anyway…

So over to you guys – has this trend been done to death, or is there still room for some trellis in your life?!

  1. OOH – I’m a fan of this stuff – I think I prefer it in small portions in a space rather than all over though. How long are you staying in Hong Kong for ??

P.S The next time you swing by my blog Elle, would you mind voting for it in the UK Cosmo blog awards under lifestyle – the button is on the right hand side – much appreciated xx
