Monday’s Masterpiece – Moroccan magic…

So seeing as I haven’t gone off on one for at last a week about how much I’m still loving Moroccan design, I thought that this morning I’d have a dose of Moorish magic, courtesy of the design genius Broosk Saib

In this Marrakech apartment, he’s combined a modern black and white colour palette and graphic stripes, with the more traditional intricate Arabic carvings, archways and furnishings.  Le bee’s knees?  Why yes, I do believe it is.

See for yourselves!

DO YOU SEE THIS CEILING TREATMENT????!!  And that light fixture is bonkers too.

Oooooh la la, come to mama…

Thoughts??  The roof terrace is INSANE, no?

And here are some ideas in case you’re feeling inspired to have a go.

Ok ok, I guess the ikats aren’t strictly Moroccan, I just couldn’t help myself…

That’s amazing. And I love that it’s not traditional morroccan colours so it looks a bit different. Love the tin cabinet! (if that’s what it is…)

Exactly, it’s not the same as all the other Moroccan interiors I’ve been seeing recently, love it. The stripes pack such a huge punch, and agreed re the cabinet!
