Morning morning! How is everyone doing today? Hope le weekend was fab!
Today I was having some trouble thinking of a designer I wanted to showcase on the blog and was having a pre-caffeine brain-racking session (never particularly fruitful…) when I remembered the gorgeous interiors created by Patricia Gray, a designer based in Vancouver whose work has featured in numerous design mags and is situated all over the world.
Thinking about it, it was actually Patricia’s blog that first got me thinking about moving into the land of interior design professionally. I was miserably sat at my grey desk in my grey office with my grey coworkers (actually, that’s mean, they weren’t all grey), many months ago now when I came across this incredible source of inspiration and ‘pretty things’ and, well, the rest is history I suppose.
So anyway, I thought I’d take a look at her brand of contemporary interiors today. She seems to always use interesting finishes and wall treatments, dashes of bold colour, and an incredible array of textures and, ahem, AMAZING FIREPLACES.
Why hello incredible headboard:
And amazing statement splashback:
I’m trying to incorporate one of these modern fireplaces into my current project but it’s proving tricksy – love them though!
Bit too minimlaist for me but I do heart that upholstered headboard:
Which is your fave? I’m personally coveting the fireplace in the first pic…
