Cayman through a pro’s lense

I have a confession to make: over the last few years, I’ve realised that I seem to be a photo junky.  Seriously.  Whenever we go away travelling, we come back with about 3000 more photos than we actually need.  What’s more, this ‘problem’ I have seems to have been aggravated by moving to the Caribbean as every single place we go photo ops pop up left, right and centre…
Now, I am not by any means saying that I’m actually any good at photography – I apparently have an inability to capture horizontal horizons (see the sunset shot above, for instance…) and most of the time manage to miss a vital bit of the frame or make it all a big blurry mess.  In an attempt to get some decent pics of our life here in Cayman I’ve been looking into a few of the photographers on island as I think we may end up having to fork out some money!  Anyway, I thought I would share some of their work with you, to give you an idea of what I am contending with.  The shots below are by Courtney Platt – you can buy prints from him directly I think if you are so inclined, enjoy!

Look at this little guy!
