*Swoon*

Last weekend I did a very good job at procrastinating.  Don’t get me wrong, I am always pretty good at it, in fact I suspect that’s partly the motivation behind this blog, but I did a truly stellar job on Sunday.  I was supposed to be inking some more fricking floorplans (they are swiftly becoming the bane of my existence) but somehow my laptop magically switched itself on and happened to surf its own way (incredible!) to the Restoration Hardware website, where I was detained for a few hours unable to believe how gorgeous every single item was!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the super natural finishes they use and the interesting quirky styles and accessories – the stylists who put together the room vignettes on the website are geniuses.  Admittedly, if you were to furnish your home in solely their range it might end up looking a little like a damp (beige) squid, but throw in some coral, apricot or teal, a bunch of gorgeous colourful throws, shams and suzanis, ethnic intricately carved lanterns and armchairs upholstered in interesting fabrics and Bob’s your father’s brother: beautiful home.  See below my picks of the bunch.

And I LOVE this ye oldey map of London!  I guess it’s not as authentic as if you’d picked it up at Portobello Road Market or somewhere, but fab nonetheless.  Other amazing accessories too…
They also do a bunch of incredible outdoors ranges, I luuurve the rural Tuscany backdrop to the fruit trees…

To make matters even worse, there is currently a CLEARANCE SALE with 60% OFF until I think August 22 – just sayin’…
